There are many factors which affect auto insurance rates.  Among the most significant are age, driving record, sex, state, amount of auto insurance purchased, and credit score.

Consumers stand to uniquely benefit, however, by being able to shop for auto insurance online because it is such a dramatic improvement over the old way of buying auto insurance.  Not only can one save time and money by comparison shopping, one can also print off their proof of insurance once they’ve bought online instead of having to wait weeks for it to arrive in the mail like in the old days.
